Position Summary:
A lead carpenter is defined as a craftsman with extensive skill and experience level, able to manage job sites with multiple employees and trade contractors. Extensive knowledge of residential construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, tools and equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, cost control, safety and applicable building codes.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage production of residential job sites.
· Proficient at blueprint reading.
· Able to do layout, framing, finishing of typical outdoor projects;
· You will be hands on creating decks, screened porches, gazebos, trellis, and roofing.
· Ability to draw appropriate sketches to communicate details to employees and others.
· Mathematical skills and analytical skills necessary to do material and labor take-offs, estimates, and job cost reports.
· Able to manage employees and communicate clear direction to both employees and upper management as needed.
Eligibility:
Prior experience running residential job sites
Proficient at hands-on wood working; deck, screened porch, gazebo, and other types of building
Minimum of 5 years construction experience required
Clean MVA license required
Must be able to pass drug test and D.O.T. physical
Ability to follow oral and written directions

Recycling Facilities Manager(Heavy Equipment Operator)

Position Summary:
The position of Recycling Manager carries the overall responsibilities for creating high quality screened topsoil and mulch here on our 141 acre farm in western Howard County. Related duties include ensuring a safe work environment for all persons assigned to work in the recycling center and topsoil building.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage production of screened topsoil plant and vertical grinder.
· Operate large John Deere Wheel Loaders.
· Operate the soil screener and the vertical grinder.
· Be responsible for all incoming materials; selection and sorting.
· Manage the sale of topsoil to contractors.
· Maintain the equipment and over see the scheduled maintenance as needed.
· Operate CDL dump truck as needed.
· Turn in detailed notes to upper management on production schedule and sales.
Eligibility:
Prior experience running heavy equipment (wheel loader & track machines)
Minimum of 5 years equipment experience required
General knowledge of topsoil and mulch production preferred
Clean MVA license required / valid class A CDL driver’s license preferred

A stonemason is a manual labor worker who specializes in working with natural stone and like materials i.e. brick, block, pavers, ext. You have to be more than just a good worker, a lead stonemason is also an artist.

· Able to do layout, set elevations, and plan out the entire job;
· You will be hands on creating walls, patios, fireplaces, koi ponds, and more.

Operations / Production Manager
The following job description includes, but is not limited to this list. All Rhine employees are expected to do whatever is necessary to ensure a safe work environment and happy clients.
Position Summary:
This is a top position within the firm. Operations / Production manager will be directly responsible for 8-15 crews; in-charge of communicating with the residential customers, scheduling the jobs, routing trucks, ordering materials, inventory control, managing crew leaders and holding them accountable. You will work very closely with our in-house architects, designers, and the sales team to make sure all jobs go as planned. You will be responsible to identify and sell enhancement work orders on your sites and support the sales team with estimates, budgeting, and client relationship management. You will plan and hold weekly production meetings on both the sales side and install side. Visit all work sites regularly and give hands on direction and guidance as needed. This position reports directly to the owner for both daily and weekly production reports.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage production of all residential construction and maintenance jobs.
· Creating a job schedule for all sold work and communicating that information to clients, managers, and field crews.
· Responsible for time management on job sites to move different specialty crews in and out as needed to ensure proper fit for each step of the job.
· Managing, training and developing employees; as well a performance reviews.
· Ensure that all jobs are completed according to contract, on time, and on budget.
· Scheduling and making regular visits to meet customers and sales team.
· Managing all tools and equipment; making recommendation on new equipment purchases and developing a plan for tool and equipment replacement.
· Sell enhancement work orders to existing clients on your sites.
· Act as a customer service contact for the company to provide problem solving solutions.
· Represent the company in an ethical and proper manner in handling collections, complaints, servicing, scheduling and relaying information to the proper company employees and customers in an accurate and timely manner. This is preformed in a manner that exceeds customer expectations and maintains goodwill for future business.
Qualifications:
Prefer Bachelors degree in Landscape Management, Landscape Architecture, Ag Business, Business, Horticulture, or Ag Science
Minimum 5 plus years managing people, schedules, equipment, and operations in a profitable landscape business of $2 million or greater in annual sales
Prior experience running residential and commercial job sites
Minimum of 5 years construction experience required
Clean MVA license required
Must be able to pass drug test and D.O.T. physical
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Must be able to manage others and delegate responsibilities as needed
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must be computer literate
